DEKA 31 AGM Date code?

Bought a used '07 with “New” batteries. Not balanced even after multiple chargings. I’m using automotive charger to individually charge them to around 14.5, drive it around, then using onboard charger. Lights on charger indicate its working properly.
Trying to determine which(if any) are actually new-is there a date code stamp on the case?

It’s on the side on my Deka FLA batteries.

It’s a letter followed by a number. The letter is the month of manufacture, A=Jan, B=Feb, etc. - the letter “I” is skipped.
Number is the year. 0 = 2010, 1= 2011 etc. It rolls over every 10 years.

Thanks-I’ve seen similar on auto batteries, but not on these.
Is it near the upper ‘rim’ ? On side or on end?

Mine are marked on the top of back rim/side (back being the opposite of the side where the posts are). But mine are flooded cells, might be in a different location on the AGM. hope that helps.

I’m reviving this dead thread because i still need an answer…The AGMs are different from the FLAs. If you have a Deka that’s out of the cart, please check for me
