Dead GEM '05

I’m running out of ideas of what the problem is… i hope somebody can help me.

here are the details of the car:
2005 GEM E4
Has not operated in the last 2 years. (my boss has me trying to fix it)
Replaced the batteries, pack voltage shows over 72+volts
Controller was just rebuilt a few weeks ago
the battery charger flashes that it does not see the batteries
on the dc/dc converter- it shows power of 72+ volts the enable voltage pin shows 0volts
lights, flashers, display have no power/ do not light up
Fuses on the PSDM are all good (i took it out of the car and removed the cover to look at the condition… it looks fine… nothing obviously wrong)
the magnet behind the dash (i believe that is for the contactor??) gets no power from the controller
car rolls freely
when you let the parking brake off you get the beeeeeeeeeeep

Any ideas of what i should do now (besides burn it)
any other information i may have forgotten to give that would help

Hi

the main switch on psdm under fuses are ON ?

try if you have 12volt on positiv spade number 6 on psdm and negativ to chassies

display works or black ?

yes main switch is on and voltage shows going through it.

display is black

th spade you are talking about… Is is that the 8 (I think) vertical spaces on the left half of the psdm?. I have not checked that. I can check that tomorrow.

hi

yes number 6
i think 7 and 8 are called A and B they are 72volt

the charger not see battery pack ?
you must have 72volt to charger
if not,the charger interlock signal to psdm will not work

I finally got a chance to get out and check the pins. I was getting no voltage from 6,7, or 8. I was grounding to the the chassis

ok, you can only read positive pin 6 to chassie ground

on positive pin A and B you have to read ground in 72v negativ on psdm

do you have 72v on the big + and - cables on psdm from battery pack ?

Im having same issue. Woke up, turned key, dash turned on and then turned off…no 72 v of power anywhere…checked all connections…its a 2005 e4 w/ less than 200 miles, what could be causing the power outage?

btw, all the batteries are fully charged…

Hello my friend. Sounds like emergency brake momentary switch is wired wrong. You should get a long beeper with ignition off. When you release the brake the beeps should stop. Check your wiring there because the contactor will not engage with the ebrake on
