Dash meter reads 00 volt meter reads 78. Hmmm

Well when I first put the Leaf cells in my cart I noticed that’s the volt meter read less than what I had in the actual pack. But it it didn’t stop charging and it’s still charging. Has anyone else noticed this? I have 20 modules in my 2005 Gem.

I should have only taken one pic that shows 00 even when I turn the key on. These two pics are from when it was still charging. Either way with the key on it moves but shows 00 on the dash.

When battery is full voltage, see if you can reset the 00 to 99.
It’s done with turn signal lever. Instructions are posted somewhere on forum.

On the 05’ and above models the dash displays I am familiar with read the percentage of charge based on an algorithm it uses. It is not a voltmeter and is never a good indicator of the true pack condition.

State of Charge Indicator

  1. Turn the key on.
  2. Push and release the TRIP/ODOMETER switch until it’s showing the
    odometer.
  3. While holding the switch down, turn the RIGHT signal on, then the LEFT
    signal, then
    return the blinker to the center.
  4. Release the TRIP/ODOMETER switch. You should be seeing data (P0105) on
    the display now.
  5. Turn the RIGHT signal on, then off repeatedly until the display reads:
    SOC (State Of
    Charge).
  6. Push and release the TRIP/ODOMETER switch. Now it’s remaining capacity in
    percent.
  7. You can now raise (or lower, for that matter) the SOC with the blinker
    switch.
  8. When you’re happy, Push and release the TRIP/ODOMETER switch. The display
    reads: DONE.
  9. Turn the key off.

The Display can be programmed,so sad i dont buy these cable then Chrysler have it now i think its gone :frowning:

here is old number for software and cable,maybe also possible to change parameters for lithium
