Some people are born lucky or live right. I got a 2017 TRIM gearbox to upgrade to 12.3 I opened it up and there was about 4 table spoons of oil in it. One intermediate shaft bearing failed and parts of the ball retainer were in the bottom of the case. Remarkably nothing got in the gears and the rest of the box was in good condition. This group of cars initiated in 2016. I realize the box is filled for life from the factory. CHECK THE DAMN OIL YEARLY. ANYWAY.
