Charge will read 80 percent. If i plug charger in briefly then unplug it will read 100 percent after a full charge. Is this normal. I have a 825 i just got. Thank you in advance
Don’t put so much trust in that gauge. Being a voltage based device, how it works is not the most accurate way to measure SOC (State of Charge).
Most likely it performed another check when it was powered up again and updated its guesstimate.

I came to the conclusion that it’s not at all accurate. Sometimes after a full charge, I’ll drive 20 yards and it will be at 85 and then park it and come back and it’s 100. Sometimes it goes down one number at a time and sometimes it drops by 5. I suppose 25 years ago it might have been different, but not today…
