I have been working for over 2 years to formulate something to reduce gear whine. The current material, that I developed, seems to be working on my GEM.
I have 160 miles on it and its still quiet.

Over 300 miles now. One of my customers added it to his 4 wheeler 40 to 50% reduction in whine. 4 wheeler gears are loaded higer than a golf cart. Looking to see how it performs as the hours add up.

i know this is an older thread , did you additive work ? the gear whine on my diff is driving me crazy .
Not really. I ended up overhauling the gear box
