is there any adjustment ??? the speedometer some times will show 23 mph at most the batterys are fully charged and the batterys down abit as you drive
The GEM is made with the throttle set to maximum. The throttle can be easily governed. We do this by disconnecting the “road” switch so that the GEM always runs in the slower “turf” mode.
Check the condition of the batteries and charger. Have the batteries load tested and see that the charger is set for the correct battery type and that the software is up to date.

The first paragraph of my answer was how to adjust the maximum speed of the GEM. The second paragraph gives advice on battery troubleshooting. Most trouble with poor performance is related to worn out batteries or improper battery charging.
