A Cool story of Trust

Ok with out Naming Names. I just wanted to tell this Fourm about a Member here who is Very well know who lent me a huge sum of money to buy a GEM car with no Guarantee of pay back or Securty at all . We have known each other ONLY via this Fourm. We have never met face to face but some how he trusted me with thousands. I find it truly amazing & very cool that some people are still willing to put them selfs out on a limb with no lifeline to help someone. With all the scams and dirt bags on the Internet you have to have some huge balls and or intuition to do what he did. I have met Many people here who trust and put them selfs out and it’s very cool, in this day and age this is very rare. We are lucky to be a part of this Fourm. Let’s all look out for each other and take care and support each other.

Grant, I appreciate your thread on a stand up guy. I wish there were more of them. I also wish the web was less spider and more joining. Salute to the unnamed guy who is smart enough to deduce an individuals character by the history of his posts.

Now on to the new GEM… I’m not sure what happened to the engineers that designed the smooth lines of the E825, they must have moved on. The picture is more engineering function than graceful form. Some might describe it as fugly. Grant you need to tell us why change.

…I of course have no room to talk since mine can only function at a drive-in, and only if that drive-in is shown on my garage door. It is still not running but tomorrow…

Seriously, thanks to that guy who makes this place unique.

I understand your feelings about the looks of the New Generation Gems. But once you get some time in a New Gen Gem you will understand and look the other way and in time appreciate the cars looks. IMO these cars are so much better then the classic, I’m looking forward to improving the small things that need attention. David has some very cool things in the works. Stay tuned

Very refreshing and uplifting story. Specially in these days of technology and techno-thieves.
I’m glad to hear your story and wish your unnamed friend great health and years of joy…
