I been driving a brand new 2018 GEM E4 for six months and I keep having a recurring issue with the battery. I go out everyday with a full charge, yet at least once every two weeks when turning it back on it goes through the cycle then shows zero charge, when the battery was at 75% or more. I’ve been lucky so far and by turning it off and on about 10 to 20 times it overrides whatever the issue is and goes back to the 75% charge. Clueless at to where to begin. Any though’s that I can forward to the Motor pool would be greatly appreciated.
Unless any connections are loose take it to a Gem dealer since it’s under warranty. May need a reflash as well.
As well the only way to truly gauge the SOC is to measure the voltage of every battery individually including the AUX battery under the dash. If that all checks out then maybe its the BMS or software that is proprietary to Polaris so again see a dealer at that point.
