What sort of questions?
Maybe some others can fill in a few blanks for you while you are figuring out your project?

I am hoping to go lithium, with a speed upgrade, curious how the upgrade for speed is working right now. My hopes is to do 35 miles an hour, and increase my range
I just did lithium and controller swap in a 2022. 35mph, and Tesla model X battery. which motor? 5kW or 6.5kW? Hills?
So far, options are
Samsung Sdi and Tesla.
SAMSUNG sdi 2p14s ~9.7kWh
Tesla 18s 19kWh (the best of the best) need to swap charger and dc dc converter. Because it’s High voltage
I have a Tesla battery in SE Mn. if you can make the trip.
I’m not keen on shipping it.
I used batteries at a guy here in Michigan built. Now I’m wondering about the controller? Which controller did you end up using?
We use sevcon with our custom software.
Which batteries did you get?
How can I get the controller and software? Can you email me.
It depends on battery
I can get you the exact specs on my battery but it’s a 48 V lithium hundred amp hour is there anything more that you need to know than that?
I am running two of those batteries
t’s a 48 V lithium hundred amp hour is there anything more that you need to know than that?
Yeah… That’s almost like saying you think it’s a blue one.
Maybe you missed it, but here it is again…
The speed upgrade is not simple diy, although some have done it.
It needs a new controller and partial wire harness.
They work together as it needs slightly higher voltage for the new controller.
So - you really need to do your research to get this right. If you choose to go outside the suggestions given to you here then you may be going down a path that may not work as you intend.
Yes, at this time we only do the upgrades using 80v controllers, as 48v controllers are +$1000 our cost.
Minimum working voltage is 50.4v and hardware limit of 39.1v. Although the controller may work near lower limits, we can’t test every battery configuration.
I have tested my 14s, 15s, 16s, and 18s SDI and Tesla-X batteries and have confidence they work pretty well.
14s and 15s sdi making the simplest conversions.
we need the specs of the batteries, a link, model, specs sheet, pic of the label, would help.
Seems for what I can understand that you’ve got LFP Batteries.
Michigan has a population of 10 million.
If half are children and half the adults are women, that leaves 2.5 million minus 1 (you) as potential sources here.
Could you maybe narrow it down a little bit there Lou?
Link goes to a blank page on the site. Maybe not mobile friendly.
@Rosco P. Coltrane
This is where your link went. It doesn’t have any products on it.
How about just typing in the specs from the receipt?
Or pictures of the batteries, charger, inverter, converter, adverter or whatever y’all bought.
Can’t really help you with out knowing what you stuck in the thing.
It appears that website is still very much under construction.
I couldn’t find any details either.
48v 100ah. 49lbs 150a/450bms.
I installed two of these.
