2016 E2 Restoration Project Assistance

Interesting. Is that for temperature management?

Not sure why, but that might be the reason

Thank you for that information, I get that error regardless if all the cables are connected or not. Could I possible be missing something else for the cart not to charge?

You said you used the harness from another car, where did you plug the harness? There should be 3 places, the chargers. The interlock by the horn and the communication by the service port next to the charging port receptacle

The harness is original to the cart and the chargers. I did not use a different harness to connect these chargers.

Send pics of where the harness is connected, there should be 3 places where the harness plugs to the car…

I have a video, I just can’t figure out what the best way to upload it is.

Try to connect them backwards swap sides charger A and B only the data port,

also make sure the above connection is properly connected, identify the Main service plug, then every accesory has a Y make sure you are not connecting the same Y split together and you are really doing a cascade, put the Charger harness Y split in the first one (directly to the main service port) and see if that solves the issue,

did you replace the bmc next to the speed controller or just the brammo? If you did not do it your car might still be programmed for Agms be careful

Thank you for your response.

When I move the small service connectors at the top of the cart around, I start getting error codes on the main display. The current connection setup is the only one that gives me a battery capacity reading without any error codes.

I have also tried swapping the data port connections on the charger side, but that did not change the symptoms. One thing I did notice is that the main display lights up when the charge cord is connected to the cart, but the chargers remain in error-code mode.

The small black BMC is original to the lithium cart. At first, I did not have the BMC connected, but that caused multiple error codes and the cart would not run.

Do you have any photos or diagrams showing how this should be connected correctly?

Also, the ClipperCreek PCS-120 does not power up the chargers at all. The only thing that powers them up is the original Polaris 120V plug.

Use this, identify each harness

You’ll need to change the BMC next to the speed controller too not only the Bmc in the battery compartment

All the BMC units in the cart match the lithium cart. I will check the diagram to see if something is missing or misconnected.

I have checked all of the connections multiple times and verified that everything is plugged in correctly. I also tried every possible connection variation, and the way it is connected now is the only configuration that does not trigger an error code on the dashboard.

I verified all of the fuses throughout the harness and checked the relays to confirm they are clicking when they should. At this point, I have hit a complete wall with this charging issue. Any additional help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
