2015 E4 no power at the controller

I’ve done some recent work on it but this is a new problem. Maybe I caused it. Not sure.

I replaced the DeltaQ because 12v was failing. Now that is working.
I replaced the batteries. Now have deca gel. Voltage is good.
I removed the heater. Maybe I took off something I wasn’t supposed to.

Here’s what’s going on: I have 78v at the PSDM. The LCD comes on with the key on but starts flashing. No codes. No E-brake alarm. This piece on the back of the PSDM does not send 72v out.

Any clues are appreciated.

Sorry false alarm. The fuse was blown.

Heh, I was just going to suggest F10 & F13.

BTW. That Piece on the back of the PSDM is the Main Contactor/Relay. It won’t actually close until all codes are cleared, handbrake dropped, and you press the pedal bit.

If you measure across it with KeyON, it may seem like it is closed(passing power) but what you are seeing is voltage coming back to this point from the controller as the caps charge up.

Ok. Thanks for that. After looking at the routine of 72v it does have me questioning what it going on. The main switch appears to bring power 72v to the left front of the PSDM. The contractor relay and the PSDM are both hot straight from the battery at that point.

I was considering jumping across to test if that was the problem. And what purpose does the contractor relay serve.
