We were just ‘gifted’ a 2000 that didn’t run. We swapped all of the batteries and now have lights, horn, etc. but when we put the e-brake down, it alarms. Turns off in turf mode. Won’t engage in fwd or rev. Also, has a retrofit updated charger, but doesn’t indicate any charge when plugged in.
When you first switch on the battery pack, the display should light up for 10 seconds, Show you a couple numbers, then go out.
Confirm(Y/N)?
Then when KeyON, the display should light up and show a -04. This is your HandbrakeApplied warning. When Handbrake released, the -04 goes away and there will be an obvious “clunk” from under the dash.
Confirm(Y/N)?
No. The dash lights/numbers will light up for about a second and then turn off. No clunk. No numbers reading.
Note that there were TWO instructions in my response above.
Submit confirmation of step 1, then step 2.
No confirmation. No numbers. Nothing is lighting up.
You are making me beat up grass!!!
