1999 gem E825 doesn't function

Little backstory
Dad bought this golf cart and it was all working good. One thing it did which was odd, when he drove it and it got to a certain speed, everything would shut down. Dash and power to the motor. Upon keying off and back on fixed it.
Fast forward, dads trying to fix a light and grounds out a wire leaving nothing working. Though not sure if this was just coincidence.
I’ve followed the service manual and it points to the motor controller.
But through reading this forum Im missing 12v going to the accessories, but I have 12v going to and from the key. I’m missing 72v on the switched grey and white wire though. Jumpng 12v to energize the relay where the grey and white wire comes from fixes everything. It appears that the blue wire going from the dc/DC converter to the timer needs to be energized?

Check the fuses.
Open the “hood”, look under the rubber flap just below the windshield.

If that doesnt work, let us know. I’ve got 4 orher things you can try.

Can you clarify which light you dad was trying to fix and was shorted?
Also verify that this short circuit was removed and cleared.

This might lead to a path and proper solution that does not involve explosives, flammable liquids, and copious amounts of difficult to acquire rocket propellant.

But tall cliffs are freeeeeeeee!
