14 el XD having problems again

Interesting…
I wonder if a test rig can be set up to monitor a few inputs on the T4/T5 and see if either pedal up or brake lights(both?) will send any key signals to the controller.

It would be nice to uncover the magic secrets of the PSDM one of these days.

I followed it back to our shop yesterday and never saw the brake lights even flicker, but who knows, even a small amount of current may cause the electronics problems.

I’d also be curious as to how a half cup of water got into a (normally) well sealed box that tucks under a shelf. Maybe you need to invest in a shed/awning(or at least a car cover) to protect the car when rain is coming?
In reality, these things are not really a wet weather car.

It’s parked under a shed 16 hours a day, just out during working hours. It’s not like we can decide to park it just because it’s going to rain, there’s cabins and bathrooms that must be cleaned daily.

I may have gotten my T3 Controller wet - how do I know? I have a solid alarm that comes on when I turn on the breaker. Things on the dash just flash (the wrench lights up). Did water get inside and now I need to take it apart to dry it out?

That would be a good guess.
Be careful, and mindful of whet you tough in there.

Hopefully it is just wet. Most of the time water and electronics don’t make for a good combination. Then add High V
