12 volt battery

I have a 2016 e4. The 12 volt battery keeps going dead. Did it come with this battery? Can I just bypass it? Any suggestions?

To the best of my knowledge the 12V aux battery is required.

My flooded Gem sat for 5 months before I could get to it’s rebuild. In that time the new lead under dash battery went dead. Well that is just unacceptable. No bms to protect my $30 lead battery, well we will fix that. Plus I’m LG so the fact I had a LEAD battery in my Gem was blasphemy. So I ordered a lithium replacement.
