Will Nissan kickstart a US charging revolution?

Nissan has today confirmed that it will build a further 500 fast charging posts across the US as manufacturers finally step up to the mark and inject money into the charging system. There are now high hopes that an array of other car manufacturers will step up to the mark and also invest cold hard cash into charging systems which are the lifeblood of the industry.

Is this too little too late? Will Ford, Toyota and General Motors step up to the mark?
