There is speculation that Tesla will have an affordable EV on the market by 2017 with a price tag in the region of $40,000.
What is the maximum you would pay for an EV today?
If the batteries were around $4,000 to replace and the car could get close to 58 miles on a full charge I would be willing to pay $13,000 for a used electric car. Also the car would have to be able to easily maintain 65 mile per hour speeds.
I don’t care much about sports car looks. The Tesla is awesome but far out of my price range.
