I haven’t seen a thread yet on this (maybe I overlooked it) so here it goes. Here are some videos I found on Youtube pertaining to Electric cars and motorcycles. Very intersteing if you ask me. If you have seen these sorry for the repost. If I find others I’ll post them but as of now there are hundreds on youtube so I want post them all!

I guess I never really thought you could cram enough battery in a bike and get that good of range and tuck it all up in there and keep a good center of gravity. Now that I see it I don’t why I thought otherwise.
I guess it would go in this section and this is the vehicle I plan to purchase (after seeing this would like to make my own bike) is the BugE. There are a ton of short video’s of it on Youtube. Just type in BugE and it will come up.

I saw that a while ago too and that thing is awesome!
There’s a guy local to me that has a BugE. It’s a pretty sweet looking design and the thing scoots. As with any other tricycle I’ve seen, it presents a stability problem. I witnessed one person taking it for a spin almost smack it into some parked cars because it got squirelly and tried to go on two wheels in a curve. He was only going about 25 mph. I think adding another foot in track, a couple more degrees in camber and getting the pilot another 3-4 inches lower could bump that instability point up to 40 mph. Possibly even increasing caster a bit would induce chassis lean. I’d have to take a closer look at the front suspension to tell.

if you look closely on there it has rollers incase it tips back on an angle…
Well I’m sure I will tell you guys all about it and will be making modifications as I go. Looks like I will be ordering one by the begining of the month. I think I’m going to be adding a slightly larger motor or the same size but with reverse. And of course a few other little things here and there. There are some pics on the website under modifications that show some of the front suspension (or lack there of) it is a solid front end so the ride can get a bit bumpy I’m guessing. The whole point of the car though is for short trips in town so for what his target market is he is right on especially with that price point. Plus it allows people like me to have fun with it and customize it one step at a time for little amount of money.
