My 2002 Ford think has a ticking sound. I have unplugged reset. The control box is showing a red light with an amber light above it, batteries showing full charge, but when I turn the key for “D” or “R” nothing is happening. Batteries are one year old. Have had to have one charge since then. Can’t imagine if there is something draining them.

Don’t know what your problem is but batteries should be charged every 2 to 3 weeks if car is unused. Do you have any technical know how?
