Ok well that was fun
Finally put it all back together
In the garage
Both forward speeds seem to work
No code
When I put into reverse and hit gas peddle it immediately shows code 66
This time tho when I cycle key it goes away
You hear contractor cycle but then pops back out as code shows
Any ideas now?
Maybe need to replace that 3rd one on the one side?
Fun, yea that is how I would put it as well… LOL
Ok, So forward works fine? and reverse is now your only issue? Don’t go backwards… JK
So A1/A2 are your forward and reverse sides of the board.
If forward is now working, yea maybe that third FET is on the Reverse side. Is it the same part # as the others.
All the other are labeled Q1-Q6 which makes me think that there are only six.
It’s a crap shoot fixing, for 30 bucks it’s worth a try and I have had it work twice but others have not had luck.
I’ll tear it all down tomorrow morning and replace the 3rd one. Didn’t pay attention as to what part number it is
Luckily I ordered 1 extra FET
Of this doesn’t fix it I guess I may have to send off for repair
Well I opened it up and noticed 2 of the fets had bad solder job
Well all of them at that matter
But 2 of them where ever so slightly touching post to post
Cleaned it up abs went for a 1 mile drive
All seems well
