I recently bought a 2002 e825 4 passenger that ran fine but had no lights, horn or wiper. I traced down all the fuses and connections, cleaned and replaced everything at all was good. Today I was putting on new wheels and decided to plug it in. Charged for a while and when finished at 100% it sounded the alarm. I unplugged it and had to leave the car for a few hours, when I got back none of the 12 volt system works now. Fuses look good but now I am at a loss. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Such is the problem with doing shotgun repairs. I like to hit one thing at a time until things start working and apply attention at that point. If it fails again, it makes for a good place to go back to.
Do you have a meter?
Do you know if this car has the DC wiring/converter update?
