A number of governments around the world are now offering free parking to electric vehicle users as a means of incentivising further take-up. However, with petrol and diesel vehicles contributing significantly more tax to government coffers, is this fair?
Why? They pay less road tax and less fuel costs…
NO! they occupy a space. People should not be penalized for owning a petrol car.
