This is a very interesting area of the argument for or against electric car because at the end of the day a new technology will need to support itself at some point. However, in the short term I dont see an issue offering incentives, but not sure why governments are still offering incentives for gasoline powered vehicles?
Doesn’t make much sense to incentivize consumers to buy petroleum fuel type vehicles. With solar, wind and other sources of renewable energy and their unlimited potential government should be leading to push us in a non pollutant direction for the future, especially with roof top solar now becoming mainstream.
