I was coming into my parking garage & the pipe rack ran into a low hanging unistrut
The extruded aluminum frame of the car was fine, the bent sheet u channel of the bed mangled
I had seen a crack where the bolt goes through the frame of the car, replaced the nut & washer with a 1" x 3/4" x 5" aluminum bar stock threaded & a drilled piece of the same for the bolt to go through
I straightened out the service bed frame & re enforced with 2" steel angle & flatbar drilled, tapped for 1/4-20 & then welded flush. Flatbar pieces drilled & welded to the angle to re enforce the front mounting holes
