Can anyone recommend a 72volt Lithium battery for my 2009 e2?
Can anyone recommend a Lithium 72volt for my 2009 E2. I think just the weight will cure the over heating problem?
4 years later and you still haven’t moved somewhere colder?
(Not that there is anywhere on this planet that is cooler than high 90’s this week)
But seriously, this has got to be the longest running issue without a solution on this forum! Why have you not been back sooner??
Describe your scene with a little bit more detail.
- Clarify → This is still a MOTOR overheat/slowdown and not a -41 CONTROLLER overtemp?
- where do you live?
- what terrain are you driving your cart?
- how far does it go before overheat?
- What have you done to try and resolve this issue?
- When was the last time you serviced the motor?
- How old are your batteries?
- Any other mods on this car?

New Dakota batteries! Did not help! They are very dead now!
“New” is a relative term. How long ago was this?
This is a curious statement. They are new? and they are dead?
Clarify/expand if you would.

41 controller?
A CONTROLLER Overheat stops the car dead in it’s tracks. Do not pass GO, Do not collect $200. A yellow wrench appears on the Dash Display and the number 41 appears on the screen where speed is normally shown. Error will not clear until controller cools down.
A MOTOR Overheat will slow the car down 1/2 speed (allowing you to limp home and a red thermometer icon will appear on the Dash Display.
If your Dakota (assumed Lithium?) batteries have an issue then the car will stop dead and Dash Display will go dark. No power on car at all. Not sure what will reset this condition.

punch cards
IBM 370, 80 col punch cards, 132 col trac fed green and white dot matrix print output. A favorite trick was to send endless loop of page ejects to the printer and see how long you can get the paper to bounce off the ceiling tiles before the sysop could get over and hit the EM stop. Those were fun days.
From my personal archives. The only thing missing from this collage would be a pee-chee folder (pretty sure there is one back there).
