does the '02 have a rubber hood latch to hold the hood in place? I looked at the manual and don’t see a part number

owners… what batteries do you have in your '02 car and have you tried a couple of others before saying this is the greatest battery

There is a rubber hood latch. We use NAPA 8272, which is a group 31 GEL made by Dekka. The batteries typically last 4-5 years with daily use.
