Reading about the HEV, I’ve found this acronym and I’m not sure about the meaning. In some articles, PHEV is refered to Plug In Hybrid Electric Vehicle, but in other articles is Paralell Hybrid Electric Vehicle. They are different concepts: plug in are the hybrid with external battery charging device and paralell are the hybrid with ICE and electric motor connected to the drive train (the ICE sereis hybrid motor isn’t connected to the drive train). Then ¿Any idea for distinguish both terms?
