Zivan USA in CA has factory repair service. I have used them three times on three different GEMs. All three 18 year old chargers have proven durable and are still in daily use. If you are handy with electronics and soldering, the correct fuses are available and appear at the link below:

There are many component parts that, until recently, were only available from GEM as a complete assembly. To name a few, brake calipers, the steering rack, suspension A arms, wheels, drum hubs, the throttle, and others. I will add specific sources as they are located. GEM does periodically add component parts, so if you are using an older manual, call the GEM parts department at the factory before ordering from the dealer. Otherwise, the charger can be sent out for repair. There was also a firmware update years ago. The charger will say “micro upgraded” if the upgrade has been performed.
