Had a buddy that I did a 8kw AC Motor upgrade on. If you are not aware you can really adjust the regen on these setups and he has his regen turned way up. He was out last week and ran 30 miles in a day… then the batteries were at 60v, car was dead.
He called and had a friend to tow him back to his house about 3 - 4 miles away. While being towed he turned the car on and put it in forward.
By the time he was home the batteries were at 84v. LOL
I have seen video’s of people in Russia towing Tesla’s behind trucks to charge them, never thought about doing that with a GEM when your in a bad spot.
