Did anyone else catch the Stephen Colbert Show yesterday (10-22-12)? He had as a guest [ame=“http://www.ted.com/talks/donald_sadoway_the_missing_link_to_renewable_energy.html”]Donald Sadoway[/ame] who created [B]Ambri[/B]. His team has designed an alternative “liquid metal” battery. It is proclaimed as being cheaper & better than current battery storage available today.
In the interview along with talking about how it would be used in the grid with solar & wind, he also mentioned electric vehicles and how they would go hundreds of miles on a single charge.
I can’t wait to see how this develops.
