While it would be wrong to suggest that EV technology is fully developed as yet, it would also be wrong to say that there has been no progress of late. It does beg the questions, why are governments not investing more in the technology? Why are companies not sharing their knowledge in any shape or form? Are the authorities holding back on new battery technology?
I have read about some interesting developments in battery technology with a lithion air battery being developed by IBM as one example. There is new battery technology which can blow apart the meagre 100 mile journey capacity available today but why are these new battery technologies not being fast tracked into the market place?
Are governments around the world holding back on new technology? Are we looking at a new conspiracy theory to hold back EVs?
