While BYD is predominantly an electronics company, with exposure to smart phones and computer tablets, it is starting to create waves in the electric vehicle market. Historically Chinese, and Japanese, electronic companies have been very forward-thinking and forward-looking with regards to new technologies. So could the electric car industry create a long-term lucrative future for BYD?
It seems the Chinese government is backing the company financially and from a trade point of view which always helps!
