Ford is set to showcase an EV with inbuilt solar power recharging system - is this the way forward?
It seems like a natural fit to me. I believe Ford claims a recharge of its (7?) kwh power pack over the course of a sunny day. That would make the addition of PV panels a nice addition to any EV?PHEV.
In California yes, but here in Germany it is hopeless during winter. I mean, of course you can use diffused light too, but that won’t help much
