We all know that Apple is able to maintain a level of secrecy which few other companies can even dream of. There have been rumours for some time that the company is in talks about creating an Apple electric vehicle and a Wall Street Journal report today has cast more light on this particular story.
It seems that the Apple electric car project is codenamed “Titan” and the number of engineers working on the project has tripled of late. Apple has already confirmed a meeting with the California Department of Motor Vehicles to “discuss laws surrounding autonomous vehicles”. The ability to manipulate and manage press leaks has played into the hands of Apple in years gone by and it seems the company is still able to maintain that credibility and trust from those in the press community.
A note for your diary, the Apple autonomous electric vehicle could be available in 2019!
