How to search for a topic
There are a few ways to search the forum, and the approach depends largely on what you know (or think you know) about what you want to search. For example, if you know the dates you can take one approach, if you know the title or a keyword, you can take another approach. Below are a few options and also a few screenshots that might help you find what you are after.
1) If you know the category, go into the category and sort by the column to the right either by “Views,” or “Replies,” or “Activity” (date). The below screen shot is sorted by “Replies” which might be helpful if you know the thread had several replies.
2) You can search by a single word (expanded search) or for a specific phrase if you know exactly what you are looking for. Simply type the word or phrase into the magnifying glass search icon.
3) Finally, you can run an advanced search by clicking on the “advanced search” icon. Using this feature will enable you to drill deeper and use filters to sort through our content with greater ease.
