I have been wanting to build a ev for a long time and I’m just about ready to do it. I want to use a suzuki sidekick because I need a 4x4. I wanted to know if I can fit enough batterys in to go 40 miles is such a small car. . I don’t have any of my power train layed out. I found a couple of cars I could get and the thought came to me that the car may not be able to carry the batterys. Any info is appreciated. Thanks Dan
EV of America will help you out in your calculations. You just need to send them the vehicle type, some weight info, and your performance goals (range etc).
It should be noted that I have never dealt with EVA, nor do I endorse them - I just read this on their website yesterday.
