Still does same thing
Installed it, still does same thing.
WTH?!?!?!?
WowâŚ
I need to review this thread again.
Do you have a meter?
Did you ever take any throttle voltage readings? Are you not comfortable with doing such?
Yes sir, I have a meter. I will be back to my place around 230. I am very comfortable doing the test as long as I know the wiring
I havenât tested the pedal yet. I just need to know the wires Iâm looking for so I can probe them.
Iâm confused. What do you need?
Back up around post 13 you have a diagram and a description list of what to expect.
Post 23 you have a pin out numbers for the 23 pin controller plug. To orient yourself - Pins 1 & 2 are orange wires.
Post 24 you have another diagram that has wire colors (if this matches your car) and a pin out arrangement for the pedal plug if you wanted to test it there.
Are you sure itâs not? Is he testing voltage at controller?
Well Damn⌠Sorry, but I think it was worth the try.
We have escalated this to phone.
I will have him go back and double check a few things again.
I will post findings. There mist be something I am missing.
If anyone has any other thoughts feel free to jump in on the fun!
I was going to start recommending bipassing things to try and isolate where the problem is residing.
It is kicking my butt to say the least lol
Please tell me how to test the contactor correctly. I can tell you that I have full voltage at the controller when it shuts down.
I think you are doing it correctly. Just test from the B- to the B+ right on the controller.
If that is ok, the only thing controlling speed is controller, turtle mode, and throttle.
Everything else should throw a code.
Throttle sends 1v to about 4v to controller pin 7 requesting torque. At WOT it should be steady >3.5v.
After car stops, you can check it in neutral. Should change steadily with application of throttle.
I have not studied the whole thread.
If car only slows down, not stops, test pin 4 (forward) and pin 6 (turf and turtle).
I believe car will lock in high speed by clipping pin 6. (from memory)
This is all stuff youâve done, but all I got.
Yes I have around pack voltage at the controller when pedal is pressed. It doesnât drop out when car slows down to a gradual stop. I just want this thing fixed. Should I just order a pedal assembly or what. How do I ck If motor is functioning properly? I just got it back from a fresh up. Yet it was doing this before I sent motor out.
I can send a pedal for testing.
No idea whatâs going on. If you have voltage at p7, thatâs all you need from the throttle.
If switch was bad it would fault. Wrench icon and a number.
Ok, I happen to have a 2 seater that came to me for batteries. So I decided I would borrow the pedal assy. BINGO, it finally runs right. That you everyone for all your help. You have no idea how much I appreciate all the help. Yes I will need a pedal, and I am getting a link for a pedal assy through here.
I have new throttle boxes for $240 delivered.
I will definitely need one. This is bolt in and go correct?
Itâs the new pot box on the right. You just need to re-use your pedal. (Left)
Ok, I definitely need one. How do we proceed?
