With the worldwide media very much focused upon the Oscars the deal which saw a host of stars ferried to the pre-Oscar celebrations in the GM Chevrolet Volt electric vehicle was something of a publicity coup for the company. This is the type of advertising which money just cannot buy and having their vehicles so closely associated with such a prominent showbiz event, and the whole host of stars attending, should give sales a boost.
It seems that General Motors/Chevrolet is very much looking to the future with regards to electric vehicles and this could be the year when their new vehicles go mass-market.
