I have a 2011 GEM E4, When I disengage the parking brake the warning light does not go off and the vehicle will not move. IS there a relay or sensor that could have gone bad
Lift the seat and you will see a small switch on the brake handle mounting that is activated when the brake is released, this allows completion of the circuit . It might just be loose or need the position adjusted . Check it by closing the spring for contact. Switches are for sale on Ebay for 10/12 $$.
