I installed a new set of brakes on the truck this weekend. A few days later I tore into the GEM to resolve an annoying brake squeak and thought it would be fun to show the difference.

It always amazes me the stopping power big disk brakes have and the conditions they operate under it’s amazing that something so small (the F-350) calipers can bring a 5000 LB load going 80 MPH to a stop.
I guess by comparison it’s amazing that the thumb sized brake pads on the GEM have any chance in the world of stopping me.
