Gem Batteries Discharge while sitting

Hi,

I have a 2002 GEM E875 with new trojan batteries. I’ve also had the Zivan charger replaced along with a new DC board. The batteries seem to charge fine. The issue I am having is if I fully charge the Gem overnight (will hit 100%), in the morning, the batteries are then discharged. Somewhere between 80-90% and the Gem has low power. There is definitely a draw somewhere that is stealing the power but I’m not sure how to find it. Has anyone had this problem or know of a common ‘draw’ problem? Thanks so much.

I am having the same problem. It has been recommended that I check the batteries with a hydrometer, but I don’t have one. Also, what I will try, is to turn off the main disconnect switch after a full charge and see if the batteries still run down. Good luck.

Mine does the same thing. Trojans. 2001 with Stereo.

Why doesnt the charger maintain the 100%.
