We now have a speedometer replacement for any conversion using Smart Bms.
This should garner some attention. Your speed may vary.
Let’s see if Grant can clean up my gorilla tape install.
178a. Just noticed that. Not bad for 89km/h.

What vehicle are you doing 55mph in??
That’s a joke, before I calibrated it.
I changed the tire size in app from 1000 to 333 as it was reading 3x actual mph.
It states km/h but easily calibrated to read mph or even rpms.
Waiting for the battery on my gps speedometer to charge. Then I’ll get an actual reading.
I used my last set of encoder plugs, but I can send you the other board when you are ready. I think that you keep the plugs in stock.
LOL - I thought for a minute you were trying to give our 60mph record in a GEM car a challenge…
Yes, I have Encoder plugs in stock.
Dave, that’s the same BMS I have in the '10 eL, right?
Yes it is. Is that the one that’s getting the new motor?
Yep. The '10 is getting the new ac motor.
It would have taken me 1/2 a day here. I was so close one day. I was testing the conversion pcb, and it would have only taken the motor swap.
But then you would have missed all the fun.
Heck, I’m just pissed at myself for not thinking about it earlier and asking you to to just put the 8kw motor in a box in the cab before John picked it up.
