Cartywho - thanks for the recommendations!! I bought the steering wheel setup you suggested (changed the quick release) ā¦
I did have to use a thick shim / washer to bolt the adapter hub to the column.
I have not figured out how to use the factory horn wiring - the factory hub connects the two (2) push pins ā¦How did you wire up the horn ?

I cut the center of the old steering wheel out so I could use the original contact plate. I welded that to the spacer.

I popped the ring off and will look how to connect it to the base (given that it appears to be plastic, maybe I can just glue it to the baseā¦not sure it is even necessary, just need to run the wires from the horn button)ā¦Iāll post some pictures later this week!
I cut the entire center section out and used it. If you can make just the ring work that would be great.

So the soft brake lines from Centric are out of stock with no planned productionā¦ I had two lines fabricated for the front and found the fittings to be quite unusual 10x1.25 (fyi) and for the fronts you definitely need the fitting bent at 45degrees ā¦
Looking at the various hard lines, I could probably replace those as wellā¦ should I make these (and hope I can reuse the fittings) or has someone found factory parts?
I would just make your own brake lines. Get a tube bending tool and a double flare kit. Reusing the old fittings is fine. Practice making the flares if youāve never done them before.
