I’m looking for a alternative for the Black foam pads that sandwich between the trunk and the rear section of the car. The fit into the trunk and stop the trunk from rattling. Over time the foam shrinks and then the trunk starts to rock back and forth and causes noise. Looking for something that I can use to take up the space as some sort of gasket or dampener.
Wrap a few layers of electrical tape around the lock attachment pin on the trunk bracket.
