Electric car driving licence

There is some confusion with regards to electric car driving licences and whether indeed you need additional paperwork to drive an electric car. The reality is that electric cars are authorised by the local country transport department and as such do not normally need any additional documentation. However, the situation may vary from country to country therefore we thought it would be an idea to see any differences in local government regulations around the world.

I don’t see there being a need for a specific kind of powered car, if you’re going to drive a car, make sure you know about it previous to driving it. Along with proper maintenance and it’s capabilities.

Like people buying rotary cars and not reading the manual and then having a motor swap after about 20K-50K miles because they didn’t read the manual and didn’t think to check the oil regularly.
