sometimes the job is so easy we make it complicated,as I did. instead of putting the new charger under the dash,finding out how to make it work in place of the old charger,wiring up to the old wiring,I just left the old charger in its place,(info I got from this web sight) and mounted the new one in the trunk of my gem,added all new wires and there you go, full charge,thanks forum
