Charger indicator lamp is on but in low contrast

I see on an another post that you say :

Basically, when the dash display boots up it does not see any data stream from the motor controller.

Most of the time it is a loose connection.

• Check/clean the 23p connection on top of the controller or the connectors on the PSDM

Sometimes the controller is not booting up.

• check the fuses
• Possible dead controller

Once it was due to the controller sitting across the room on a bench.

• install controller into car

Review what led up to when this started happening.
Is the car still working?

I will try to clean the 23 pin connector of the controller.

And I would like to know if the main contactor needs to close when I put the key on ? Because mine don’t close when I put the key on
