I have a 2019 GEM E2 with gel batteries and the upgraded gears. My top speed is about 34 mph.
The battery indicator isn’t accurate at all. It’s easy to tell when the batteries are getting low because my top speed decreases. When they reach this point, the indicator will still show 70% - 80% charge. Any thoughts?
I am getting a new lithium ion kit from LithiumGods but want to make sure everything is going to read accurately and there isn’t something wrong with the vehicle.
Soc meters aren’t accurate but in this case you have a modded car. Ask @LithiumGods for a mini screen that goes connected to the bms that you can install on your dashboard. Or you can use the Bluetooth app.
Agree, nothing wrong with the car. SOC is notoriously inaccurate. Batteries and bmc program must be perfect.
It may be no better with aftermarket batteries. Use the new BMS for correct reading.
