Gems that have Recieved a Weight reduction Via lithium Battery’s need a specialty shock. The shocks I was playing with from Nev accessories were sprung for a car with an extra 480 pounds of flooded lead acid batteries. So someone needs to come up with a progressive sprung shock For an early Gem that’s running light weight lithium. Back then I didn’t know what I was doing. And I have not kept up with what’s in the market for Early Gems. Hopefully someone has come up with a New Shock for the older cars
